in the brain and spinal cord tissues. Our group, in collaborations with a gerontologist Dr. May Reed, is examining the neurovascular changes to the brain during normal aging and in Alzheimer\u2019s disease using our innovative ultrasound imaging approaches.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeIn”]Although the aging brain is studied quite extensively, there are very few studies examining how the spinal cord tissue and its vasculature changes with age.
