"Beach Dreams was amazing!! We were there with my parents (in their early 80s) and my kids (ages 6 and 8). We all loved it. My dad kept saying over and over "it's just so tasteful." Beautiful house, super clean, incredible views. My kids loved the pool access and water slide and smores. I loved the views, the peacefulness, the cleanliness, all the amenities, and the beauty of the house. We lacked for nothing. House was great, location was great. "Our stay at Vicki’s Beach Dream home was a perfect stay for myself and 5 friends (from Wisconsin). We would give it a 10 star rating if we could! The home was extremely clean, beds were very comfortable and her home is decorated beautifully! Kitchen was very modern and well equipped. It was a pleasant surprise to receive a welcome basket upon arrival. Sitting on the beach at the fire pit, making s’mores (another bonus…Vicki left us all of the s’mores ingredients) watching a stunning sunset was a highlight of our trip. Hot tub on the beach was very clean and relaxing (beautiful views)! We all enjoyed the turntable and the albums! Vicki was a superb host! She has very clear instructions, was very responsive and answered all questions quickly. Thank you for our stay!"

"Beach Dreams was a dream! And absolutely everything that was advertised. Vicki was very responsive and clear in her instructions on how to get into the house and every question we had. From the moment you walk into the home, everything is well-appointed and immaculately clean. It's a gorgeous home, and had all the amenities. The kids flocked immediately to the s'mores kit, while the adults marveled at the beautiful architecture and well-designed layout. While there was only 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children), there was plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 children. The house had everything we needed, from cookware to utensils to endless amounts of towels and the softest throw blankets. Perhaps our favorite part of the house was the hot tub! From there, you can sit and admire the incredible view since you're right on the water. Thanks to Vicki and Beach Dreams, we hope to come back again and again every summer."

"A really nice location, gorgeous driftwood beach (complete with beachside hot tub and fire pit), and great family-oriented pool just a 5 minute walk away. Nice big common space in the house, a functional kitchen, and great deck facing the beach. Super cute (and generous) smores kit for the fire pit, and a telescope! We had fun looking at the moon. So much wildlife to be spotted right from the deck - eagles, loons, otters, porpoises! Cons: super squeaky flimsy bunk beds so the kids kept waking each other up! And a lot of things around that just get in the way - like fake flowers and white furry throw pillows - so we had to move stuff to make room to eat / sit / sleep. No foyer, entry closet, or shoe rack. (Lots of coat / bag hooks and a shoe rack in the hallway would be great - 8 guests, 2 pairs of shoes each - that’s 32 shoes with no place to go!) Only Teflon pots and pans. But otherwise all good! Overall a great spot and I would happily come back again!"

"What a gem of a property - and a host! Vicki was thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We were moving from another Airbnb that was actually just next door and she let us drop some of our refrigerated food and meds off w/ the cleaning person so we didn't lose them in the heat. I know this isn't always possible, but we appreciated her help! She was also wonderfully responsive and accommodating when we wanted to extend by a couple of days because we just couldn't bear to leave! The house is beautiful - just as pictured and described. So many little extras and thoughtful touches from heated floors to a turntable w/ some great records, welcome snacks, recreation equipment, even firewood and firestarters. Insanely comfy beds and furniture, too! The jets were in full practice mode several nights - this is expected in this location - and it's manageable. We saw seals, porpoises, leaping fish, and our daily loon from the deck. Already dreaming of a return!"

"We all enjoyed our stay at Vicki's place. The view was spectacular and the space was perfect for two families. Our kids played on the beach for hours, making lots of s'mores and enjoying the neighborhood pool daily. It was a nearly perfect trip. It is worth mentioning that the F18s flew directly over the home from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on two of the nights we were there. The first pass was exciting, but after hours of extreme noise, we all felt the effects of lack of sleep."

"My friends and I had a lovely mama's weekend getaway at Vicki's Whidbey Island beach house. As it got closer to our trip, Vicki provided clear and easy directions to the house and was very responsive in answering all my questions. I appreciated the brief check-in message during our first morning to ensure we had everything we needed as well as providing local places to check out. The house sits on a quiet street and feels very private. The house itself took our breath away! The attention to detail was just amazing -beautifully decorated without feeling cluttered with a gorgeous view of the water! There was even a basket of yummy snacks and a s'more kit waiting on the counter. We had a lovely weekend biking to brunch (the garage has six well-maintained bikes), soaking up the sunshine on the deck, and enjoying the fire and hot tub in the evening. "This is the 4th Airbnb I’ve stayed in so far in 2023 and it was by far the best. I would give this 10 stars if I could. Can’t recommend it enough! The house: Photos don’t do this home justice. Stunning views, adorable & cosy decor. All new furniture. We cooked a big dinner the first night and they had everything we needed to cook. The host: Vicki was the best host. Very responsive and kind. Checkin and checkout were very easy. The extras: Vicki thought of everything, but here are some highlights of extras: Welcome basket with snacks, S’mores stand, beach towels, throw blankets for everyone, shampoo, conditioner, soap, room spray in every bathroom, dryer and curling iron, record player and great record collection, bird/marine maps, wine aerator, binder to answer all possible questions and instructions on how to operate everything. Location: This property is right on the water in a cute small town area. Hard to get Ubers and Lyfts so highly recommend Rock Taxi + Mr. Darcy"
