Terramer was founded on the basis to solve the crisis of plastic pollution through sustainability engineering which will fundamentally change the way the world interacts with Terramer packaging products. Through innovative sustainability engineering, Terramer creates a bio-source and biodegradable and ocean degradable resin known as Terramer’s resin, with its objective to replace traditional based plastic with renewal and compostable material, and replacing a stream of toxic plastic waste pollution. The work centers on the replacement of standard Hydrocarbon derived resins with a matrix of benevolent bio sourced materials. In the founding formulations, the components used will reduce cost, fossil fuel consumption and creates a resin that from cradle to cradle is sustainable and environmentally beneficial. As the core fill ingredients are themselves optimally compostable, and once the binding bio-resin degrades leaves environmentally benign/beneficial waste biomass or in the best circumstances, is recycled and reused multiple times before end life degradation. It will breakdown in the ocean or land over a period time, our goal is to achieve at-least 90% compostable after 180 days leaving no trace or toxins behind it.
