This groundbreaking app supports seamless online ticket purchases, transfers between users, and embedded payment functionality - taking the hassle out of buying and managing tickets.
TicketVault is a custom event ticketing mobile application. The goal was to build a scalable, one-stop solution for purchasing, transferring, and validating tickets on the go. This would simplify the ticketing experience for users at their 100+ annual events while also generating valuable analytics and insights to improve promotion strategies.
WebAppDev worked closely with the client to understand their business needs, explore solutions, design prototypes, and develop the Minimum Viable Product.
Traditional online ticketing involved multiple steps that created friction for users. First, Fans must browse events and purchase tickets on a promoter's website. They would then have to download, print, or email the tickets themselves. If a ticket needed to be transferred to a friend, it required relisting and repurchasing through secondary marketplaces. This process led to poor user experiences and frustration.
Additionally, promoters lacked comprehensive data and insights into how tickets were purchased and used. Not having tickets validated through a centralized system meant they couldn't track revenue accurately or understand audience profiles and behaviors to refine their events and marketing. There was a clear industry need for an integrated mobile solution combining online ticketing with seamless payments and transfers.
TicketVault allows users to easily browse upcoming events based on location, date, genre, and other filters. Fans can then purchase tickets securely and conveniently within the app by entering their payment details through an embedded debit/credit card system. Once purchased, tickets are stored in the user's mobile wallet for validation at the door.
If a ticket holder needs to send their ticket to a friend last minute, they can simply select the ticket and choose "Transfer." They enter the friend's mobile number or email, and the ticket is instantly sent to their TicketVault account. The app provides a centralized dashboard for promoters to view all ticket sales and validations in one place.
